Helping Wisconsin Students Learn Money Skills Early
From first books about money to deeper conversations about credit and budgeting, we’re proud to support financial education in our local schools and help grow a future full of confident, informed Wisconsin students. 💚
This week, our Green Lake team visited two 1st grade classrooms at Markesan School District to read The Berenstain Bears’ Trouble with Money and talk about simple money lessons in a fun, age-friendly way. The students were all smiles, especially when they got to take home some Fortifi swag. One student even called it “the best day ever!”
That same spirit carried into Ripon Middle School, where our Ripon team spent time with local 8th graders through Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, teaching real-world financial topics like saving, budgeting, credit cards and credit scores. These conversations matter, because financial literacy is one of those life skills that can make a difference long after the lesson is over.
