Phishing Email Scam Alert

It has come to our attention that a phishing email is in circulation, which appears to come from Fortifi Bank.

WHAT IS A PHISHING EMAIL?
Phishing scams are attempts by scammers to trick you into giving out personal information such as your bank account numbers, passwords and credit card numbers. A scammer will contact you via email, social media, phone, or other methods and appear as a legitimate source.

In this most recent case, the scammer crafted an email to look as though Fortifi Bank sent it. Upon further inspection, you’ll notice the email address is not one that our bank uses, the text is poorly written, and we would never send an email asking for such sensitive information.

The image below is an example of a phishing email seemingly from Fortifi Bank.
