Fortifi Bank – Growin’ Wisconsin since 1876.

Fortifi Bank to Build New Branch in Ashwaubenon

Fortifi Bank will expand its services to include a full retail location to complement its well-established loan production office. Construction is already underway at the new location, 701 Cormier Rd. in Ashwaubenon and is expected to open mid-summer 2019. The new facility will replace the current northeast Wisconsin location at 2018 S. Oneida St., which the bank said would continue to serve customers until the new branch opens.

“This location will bring a new banking experience to the greater Green Bay community,” said Market President Greg Lundberg in a statement. “Fortifi Bank is known for a strong personal touch and for the advisory role we play for our customers – now we can do it on a larger scale.”

Fortifi Bank, with total assets of $420 million, has been servicing Wisconsin residents for more than 140 years. Headquartered in Berlin, Wisconsin, they have eight locations spanning from Green Bay south to the Madison area.

Their line of retail financial services is highly competitive for today’s market. According to their website, Fortifi offers a free checking account that can earn 3.04% APY* on balances up to $25,000. A second checking account offers cash back on debit card purchases, helping consumers save more money each month. Another option pairs a checking account with one of their premier KASASA Saver accounts and earns interest up to 10x the national average**.

The current financial center team has been serving clients since 2010 throughout northeast Wisconsin. Primarily focused on business lending, the Green Bay location has experienced continued growth over the last nine years. Services offered at the branch include wealth management, private banking, and treasury management among others.

“We believe we are filling a void in the Green Bay area for superior products and inviting service,” stated President and CEO Eric Cerbins. “We are excited to open our doors to personal business and enrich the financial health of the community.”

Featured on their growinwisconsin.org site are video testimonials from business owners. They share challenges and successes of running a business. Each participant offers advice to entrepreneurs and gives a first-hand look at how they got started. The bank states these stories are to inspire others to follow their dreams and another way to help grow Wisconsin.

Fortifi Bank has been Growin’ Wisconsin since 1876 – one person, one business, one relationship at a time. The bank’s seven other branches can be found in Berlin, Green Lake, Montello, Omro, Waunakee, Westfield, and Winneconne. Their full-service financial centers have been offering both personal and business clients with a portfolio of products and services that are designed with the client in mind. Local decision-making, community involvement, community ownership and a Board of Directors comprised of local citizens have been the driving successes of Fortifi Bank since inception.
